How would you describe your hosting center environment? top of page

How are customer systems backed up? top of page

WiJiT employs a live off-site backup system. Customer data is encrypted and backed up to an off-site alternate hosting center in a different geographic region. The data remains there in its encrypted format on a live file system until needed for restores. Data is not transferred to tape or other off-line media during the process. Backed up data is periodically tested for validity.

How is network security handled in your hosting center?

WiJiT has deployed a Cisco Powered network. The network security is handled by a multi-layered security environment that includes Cisco's PIX firewall, Intrusion detection, and content acceleration.

When are the applications available? top of page

Applications are available for use by customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with the exception of scheduled maintenance hours as defined in the WiJiT Service Level Agreement.

How are system updates and upgrades handled? top of page

System updates and upgrades are performed by WiJiT support staff. Notifications of upgrades and maintenance are provided via e-mail and RSS feed.

Who owns the data residing in the systems? top of page

All customer data remains the sole property of the customer. At the customers request the data can be exported and transferred to them at any time.
